How much can you sell your mobile for?

October 18, 2012 by admin

If you have recently upgraded your smart phone to the latest model—or have been desperately wanting to do so—your old smart phone is probably sitting on a shelf somewhere, unwanted and unused. You may be hurting for cash after making the upgrade as well. If you’re looking to recover some of your costs—or to make some extra cash to fund a future purchase—consider recycling your old mobile through musicMagpie. Here is how much you can expect to get for the popular smart phone models of yore:

iPhone

If you’re an Apple fanatic, you’re probably anxious to ditch the old model for the highly anticipated iPhone 5. If you currently have an iPhone 4s, the trade-in value on musicMagpie could reach £264 for 64gb, £208 for 32gb, or £191 for 16gb. Those of you with the iPhone 4 can still get some great deals as well. MusicMagpie’s mobile recycling program currently offers £168 for a 32gb iPhone 4, £114 for a 16gb model, and £135 for an 8gb phone.

BlackBerry

Want to get your hands on the BlackBerry Bold 9900, or start saving some cash for the new BB10 models, which are expected to     arrive in early 2013? If so, it may be time to sell your old BB7 model. Trade in your BB Bold 9780 for about £56 on musicMagpie, or sell BlackBerry Bold 9700 for around £37. Get the cash to make the upgrade to a BlackBerry Curve 9380 by trading in your old
BB Curve 9360 for £49, or your BB Curve 9320 for about £37.

HTC

HTC phones have become a hot seller in Britain, thanks to their tie to Google’s Android operating systems. If you’re eager to try out the new HTC One X+—which is getting stellar reviews in the tech world—sell back your HTC One X for £115, HTC Desire for £23, or your HTC Desire HD for £44.

Samsung

Samsung’s new Galaxy S III has been pitted against the iPhone 5 as the best smart phone on the market right now, so if you’re a Samsung fan, it’s time to ditch the old mobile for the new upgrade. Get rid of your old Samsung Galaxy Note GT N7000 for £148, your Samsung Galaxy S II for £84, or your Samsung Galaxy W i8150 for £34.

Important Note Regarding Pricing

The smart phone values listed in this article are based on maximum values for models that are in good condition, meaning that they are fully functional and in complete working order and come with an included USB Power Adapter or Charger and USB cable. Prices for mobiles that are in poor or faulty condition will be adjusted downward—or may not be accepted at this time.
